The Last Two Days of November
Oxon Hill Bicycle and Trail Club
With record highs across the east, we had temperatures in the seventies on the last  two days of November.  On Sunday morning , Helen led a ride with Charlotte and Jim from Burroughs Middle School to Marshall Hall on the Potomac River. Sunday afternoon Jane and Jim were riding in shorts and short-sleeves.

On Monday, five of us (Art, George, Jim, Jeanne, and Steve) met at the Accokeek fire house. . After riding through the Navy Weapon Center at Indian Head, we stopped at the water to have a snack and watch the ducks. We continued on to Lee's Market where we qenched our thirst, saw  hunters displaying their kill, and weighed our bikes on the scale used for weighing deer.  Then we were back on the road, soon climbing on Bumpy Oak Road up from Mattawoman Creek. We returned to Accokeek with 42.5 miles on our cycle computers
